The record fair has been pretty good in the past years for picking up sealed new lps from the label at pretty good prices for new vinyl. Complete that southern records collection! Tho I wasn't super impressed with the used selection, though I'm sure there are deals to be found.

Union Square is right off the green line or ashland bus, saftey shouldn't be an issue.

I thought the record fair was really good last year. Lots of great vendors.

The Crowne is right in Greek town, so there are all kinds of great places to eat in close walking distance.

You may not....Chicago has changed dramatically in the last decade. Hope Pfork weekend isn't too hot.

I screwed up and didnt get tickets, but then again I am still worn out from last year.

There's Reckless records on I think 26 E Madison. I live in the suburbs, and was just there the other day. It's pretty good, but their vinyl is nothing to brag about. But they do have a good amount of CDs.

However, there are two other locations besides that one in Chicago, and I heard the other two are better in stock. So just check out their website.

See you at Pitchfork.
