cryptique
Once this man left, the game ceased to be for meToo true. It's never fully recovered, in my eyes. Not to say it won't ... it just hasn't, yet.
explodo
I have no idea why anyone would prefer the college game to the NBA. The fundamentals are worse, the players are worse, etc. You, sir, are crazy. The NBA is completely void of fundamentals. These days it consists of nothing more than circus shot show-boaters and free-throws. At least college still seems to have some kids with an actual passion for basketball rather than bling and giant checks.

sureshot
Too true. It's never fully recovered, in my eyes. Not to say it won't ... it just hasn't, yet. Not to mention handing the NBA over to ABC was a HUGE mistake. They just do not know how to broadcast basketball games. And of course Stern is so boneheaded he gave them an extended contract. The NBA on NBC will always be the golden days.R.I.P.
MrRain422
There are several good teams in the NBA who play excellent fundamental basketball, but whenever they go far, people complain that they're boring.
Chendizzle
The NBA has silly rules like "Illegal Defense" which encourage high scoring. I don't think I've ever seen a pro team actually play man-to-man. You've never seen man-to-man in the NBA? Did you just start watching after 2001?
explodo
Stereotypes ftw.If you weren't too busy choking down Dwayne Wade's cock, you might be able to have an objective opinion about this.
MattZ
There are several good teams in the NBA who play excellent fundamental basketball, but whenever they go far, people complain that they're boring. Those people are casual fans. Which is what the NBA is marketed to these days. For $$. And its also why dunks are celebrated and turn-around jumpers aren't. And why jumbotrons have to instruct people at games to MAKE SOME NOISE!!!!! A game that is marketed and sold to the casual fan is a different kind of game than the type of game that a die-hard fan may want to see. And it's why I prefer college to NBA. WilcoFan
You've never seen man-to-man in the NBA? Did you just start watching after 2001? If the players in the NBA were really playing man-to-man defense teams would not be scoring 100 points in a game.
