Sir Stewart
I like that it seems to be getting some more recognition, at least in my area - when I asked if they reserve copies of discs, the girl at the counter said "Is this for The Wire?"
the carlos
I'm giddy about The Wire as well.
Calexico
Any word on if this writer's strike thing will affect the next, and last, series of The Wire?

hollow
A classic now showing on Encore -- not out of bubblegum yet... Tons of classic quotes, and the best fisticuffs scene in movie history -- SouthPark even did a pretty close scene for scene homage to it

So what can we learn about Chicagoans from the food on our plates? Sir Stewart
It was ok.Man, I feel for you. First you don't get to see Bottle Rocket like I did (without ever hearing of Owen Wilson before), now this - I can't imagine seeing Raising Arizona for the first time today. Cage's personality is way too pervasive now to judge him in fairly that movie.
Analogman
It was ok. Vampire's Kiss - you may to check this one out
