fiveleavesleft
I'm going to the Charlottesville show and its my first Wilco show besides bonnaroo. Unfortunately my college gives us little freedom and I have a 12.30 curfew and Charlottesville is an hour and twenty minutes away. Leaving early is not an option, just wanted to know how long the shows usually last and if there's no opener will Wilco play longer?
H.Stone
No idea if they play longer without an opener, but the shows I've recently been to have been between two and two and a half hours. SHould give you enough time provided getting out of your parking lot isn't as tedious as it was in IA City.

fiveleavesleft
I go to liberty university in lynchburg, not that many people appreciate wilco here or any good music for that matter. thanks for the info, it seems like i should have no problem getting back in time, sucks that i have to worry about that though. evol79
Yeah, I hate to tell ya that there are probably not many Wilco fans at a Jerry Falwell founded school.

You ought to be able to get to C-ville from Lynchburg quicker than that. It's just s straight shot up 29. Granted, it's hilly, but you can probably speed most of the way. I never used to see many cops until you get around Amherst on the way back. I left Lynchburg for NoVa last April and haven't missed the place at all. Well, the one good thing Lynchburg did for me was introduce me to the choco shakes at Chik-Fil-A. anyway, dcd

Kind of an ironic name for a college with a curfew, eh? (I went to Roanoke College down the road). Oh you'll make it back in time, or else....
alison the wilca
Wilco almost always ends by 11pm. you can be done and gone to be back just in time. a friend of mine went to a nazarene university in san diego that had a stricter curfew than that (due to tijuana being rather close) so it isn't as bad as some have it? fiveleavesleft
i'll get fined if i'm late, the later i am the more fine. i think it starts at like $10 for under 30 min. maybe they want me to risk my life by speeding back, i'll get back in plenty of time though.
