vandelay
Hi there. I was at the show too and I'm quite sure that after "Sky Blue Sky" they played "In a Future Age" and not "One by One". Can anyone confirm this? Great show as usual, anyway.Highlights: "Pot Kettle Black", "Handshake drugs", "I'm the man who loves you" and the first encore. badger
Hi there. I was at the show too and I'm quite sure that after "Sky Blue Sky" they played "In a Future Age" and not "One by One". Can anyone confirm this? Yes, they definitely did. In fact, I requested it! I turned up around soundcheck time and met Pat on his way in. I put in the request and sure enough they played it during soundcheck. On his way out, Pat tod me it was going to be in the setlist, so that was pretty special for me. Incidentally, I managed to hear most of the soundcheck (although security wouldn't let me come down to the stage) highlights of which were "Don't Fear the Reaper" "One By One" and "Breathe" (opening track from Floyd's DSOTM), which sounded fantastic. Degenerex
id love to hear this? Have Wilco ever covered any Floyd songs live? I have a friend who is a huge Floyd fan and is on the fence about Wilco, and I think this would help convert him.

badger
Breathe Amazing ! Hey! Don't get too excited. It was the soundcheck and it wasn't the whole song! Anyway, Barcelona was the first gig I've ever been to on my own (I travelled from the Czech Republic), I had a great time and met some great people. The Barcelona crowd was phenomenal, which really fired up the atmosphere, right from the start. The band was even tighter than I'd seen them before and the energy was incredible. The volume definitely went up considerably during the second encore so that Spiders was fairly mind-blowing. I was thrilled that In A Future Age got played after I requested it, but I'm not sure if most of the crowd were familiar with it. Overall, a tremendous night (but the Brussels second encore still has me feeling just a tiny bit envious).
