jonbama
word has it that they will also be accompanied by maria taylor and that they will be at rojo in birmingham on the 31st. no real confirmation on that though.
explodo
I would not be shocked by the inclusion of Maria Taylor, as they are lovers.

solace
i went the 2nd night... it was pretty awesome the new stuff sounds really great for the most part. at the 2nd show they played Lua (just Nate on trumpet & conor on guitar/vocals) which was kick ass, then Man Named Truth and closed with True Blue (which, while cheesy, it was a lot of fun.) Conor explained it was always written as a kids song. Nick Freitas opening set was really great too. he appears to play the role that M. Ward played w/ Conor a few years back (albeit not nearly as great of a guitarist or singer, but still...)
TCP
That sounds really good, I wish I could have gone. Here's hoping for a recording.
solace
oh... Conor also said that he and Nate would be playing some rallies in Iowa for Obama the next few days (so starting on the 31st i'm guessing) edit: the one from Monday: http://iowa.barackobama.com/page/event/det...rganizing/4vp4x and the one from today: http://iowa.barackobama.com/page/event/detail/meeting/4vp88

explodo
These songs are pretty good. Better than most of Cassadaga at the very least. So is the plan to go into the studio or does nobody know or what?
