Guest Golyadkin
Do you think Tweedy and other musicians favor censorship? What if it is to fit their agenda? Would they favor it then? My Dog used to think not, but now we are not so sure.
Lammycat
I think censorship in the private sector is fine. Like this site, for example. It costs money to run/maintain so I feel the people that run it have the final say. I censor what my kids watch on t.v., too, because some of it is just plain inane. PopTodd
i'm a big big fan of self-censorship. Me too, at least when it comes to what my kids see and hear. For instance, when I play a cover of Camper Van Beethoven's "Good Guys and Bad Guys", I change the line: Just get high while the radio's onto:Just say hi while the radio's on They're 6 and 8. Old enought to get it, but not really. They don't need to be asking me why I condone such things by singing about them.

JUDE
I think Jeff favors some forms of censorship. Talking dogs and guy's who quote talking dogs are akin to rude, loud people at his acoustic shows. He's been know to ask them to shut the f@#$ up from time to time. Edie
Dunno -- I remember when the nazi's wanted to march in Skokie IL -- home to numerous jews and at the time a number of survivors of death camps. I was sympathetic to them wanting the march stopped, which I believe it was.

Lammycat
Of course, none of this matters as the question is: What does Tweedy, etc. think about it all?
