I never watch that show but I happened to stop on it last night when I noticed D'Onofrio was in prison, and since I like him as an actor, I watched. Good stuff.

Isn't Bogosian the dude that starred in the movie "Talk Radio". I kinda liked that one.

Yes

I never watch this show - but I happened to catch it last night or part of it anyhow. That one dude looks like he is ready to die - I'd say this show has been on too long.

It seems like about once a season, each actor on each L&O gets their "Emmy nomination" episode. And that would be his, no doubt.

In 1987, D'Onofrio entered the mainstream consciousness with two film roles that showcased his range as an actor. Most notable was the role of the obese Private Leonard "Gomer Pyle" Lawrence in Stanley Kubrick's 1987 film, Full Metal Jacket. This was D'Onofrio's first major role, and he gained 70 pounds (32 kg) for the part,[3] which still stands as the Guinness World Record, for most weight gained for a single movie role. The other role was that of Dawson, the owner of Dawson's Garage in Adventures in Babysitting, which was directed by Chris Columbus. D'Onofrio only appears in one pivotal scene (near the end of the movie), but his role was memorable in that his muscular physique and long blonde hair cause Sara (the film's youngest character) to mistakenly believe that he is actually Thor, the superhero she idolizes.

Agreed re: The Breakup.

That was that one where Vince Vaughn played the guy who was the life of the party and had smart remarks to make about everyone and everything and then ultimately learns that he has to tone it down but doesn't do a good job of it......basically Vince Vaughn playing Vince Vaughn once more.

Vincent was the 'numb nut' in Full Metal Jacket??

Wow, I never, ever would've known that.

He's a pretty good actor.....and good on L&O.........I'm curious though.......was he in prison in last nites episode due to criminal behaviour?

Oh yeah....yep, he was in Salton Sea....the meth dealer with the metal nose.
