kimcatch22
The Guinness is flowing, the corned beef is cooking, and I am ready to draft!! We really need a baseball emoticon.

caliber66
Whom can I speak to about a trade for J.D. Drew?
PigSooie
No one here. He is off limits.
El Picador
That was a pretty fun draft, even though I didn't get any of the players I was hoping for.
PigSooie
Only one team can get JD Drew.
PigSooie
A friend of mine just sent me this. Anyone ever played in a league like this? I'm in a backwards league where the objective is to field the worst team. I need some suggestions for sleepers. Rookies that will play a lot even if they are terrible, old players, fat players, hurt players, etc.
Lammycat
I've never played that way but think it could be fun.
cryptique
That does sound fun. I'm guessing, from his mention of "Rookies that will play a lot," that there are minimum at-bats and/or innings pitched?
MrRain422
How is that league scored though? Wouldn't you just be best off benching all of your players and accumulating no stats?

That's what I was thinking. Sounds interesting. She just sent me some more info. It's just like any other league except that the points come from bad stuff and you get negative points for good stuff. so you want guys that play, but suck.

kimcatch22
A friend of mine just sent me this. Anyone ever played in a league like this? Tell her to get Mark Prior, Nomar, Kerry Wood, and anyone else the Cubs thought would be the guys to lead us to glory.
MrRain422
So do you get points for like grounding into double plays and walking in runs?
cryptique
I hope so. Does Yahoo allow for setting up a league this way? I want in.
PigSooie
I would be so good at drafting a team for the backwards league. I would just draft like it was for a normal league!
Lammycat
There'd need to be a minimum innings pitched, minimum plate appearances, etc. or else my roster would be filled with "NA"s.
MrRain422
I'm drafting David Eckstein in the first round.
