handfulofwheel
The five night residency was amazing on all accounts (especially The Total Pros), but if I'm not mistaken they never played "Another Man's Done Gone," which Jeff sings on Mermaid Avenue. Does anyone have an explanation for this?
alison the wilca
they only promised to play all songs from the proper wilco albums.

Does anyone have an explanation for this? yeah, Jeff said that they were going to play all of the songs off of their official albums, a few songs from Mermaid Ave, and maybe some b-sides. Edie
Yes they said they would play everything from a wilco studio album, and toss in some Mermaid and Bsides. He never said they would play ALL of them (wait until next year for that). Edit: yeah, what they said
Bubs101
Does Panthers not count as an official song though?
alison the wilca
it wasn't on an album so, no. They promised to play all from AM, BT, ST, YHF, AGIB and SBS. Thats it. The rest was gravy.

MattZ
In the geek out listening thread last night, I got a bunch of people together that agreed to beat up anyone complaining that the drone sucked because it deprived them of an additional 3-4 songs. When we are finished with that task we will go after the folks complaining that Wilco didin't play every song. PM me if you are interested. Knuckle sandwiches with brown mustard. I am not trying to deprive anyone of an opinion. Everyone has a right to one. But I also have the right to beat up anyone complaining about anything about these last 5 shows. (and I couldn't agree with you more -- the only way the drone could have been better is if they ended with it)
scubarex
surprisingly no "Kicking Television" ?

(and I couldn't agree with you more -- the only way the drone could have been better is if they ended with it)Absolute agreement -- that would have been so epic. Pretty sure thats what Dylan would've done just to piss off the Less Than haters . As much as I love Dreamer, it seemed a bit anticlimactic for the situation since they had already played it. But I loved every night and am just getting picky now, so please don't beat me up. surprisingly no "Kicking Television" ?although not required, that did surprise me. shadowraven
all told, they did play two of the rarest songs in their catalog. I Thought I Held You (played once), and Leave Me Like You Found Me (unplayed).
