Feel free to jump in with corrections. Vetiver is very good, and their lead blends very well with Gary on classic Jayhawks tunes. Two tour shirts for Gary and quite a bit of Vetiver merch. GREAT SHOW! Definitely check it out if he's coming near you! He sounds GREAT and Vetiver is a terrific backing band and opener.

TRAND
Ouch. Thought Gary might play mostly new songs I'm not familiar with. The wife and I were going to walk down to see the show and decided against it at the last minute as we are seeing "X" there on Tuesday. Glad you had fun. I caught the Jayhawks at the Bluebird several years ago and it was a fantastic show. How large was the crowd???
TimRoss
How large was the crowd??? 100-150.
Pecan_Pie
I just got back from the show today. I thought it was amazing. Especially the Relatively Clean Rivers cover. I mean, I screamed, dunno if I've ever done that at a concert. And TimRoss, I'd say there were about 200 people there. Which is still quite underwhelming. I had a great time. The cover of Easy Ride was most def my highlight from the night! (Were you up front Tim? I was the long haired hippy kid hah).

Thanks for the clarification on the Relatively Clean Rivers song. I thought it was Relatively Clean Waters, which then made me think it was actually a Muddy Waters song. Learn something new everyday! Serak_the_Preparer
Saw Gary last night at the Pantages in Minneapolis. Sounded pretty good - they played a very similar setlist as in Denver, but mixed up the order a bit. My personal highlight was Settled Down Like Rain. I also really enjoyed Sound of Lies. Go see him if you get the chance - Vetiver was great too, so get there early. On a side note to anyone who has seen Vetiver, what is up with the lead singers mouth? Very distracting.
