mp3's, no. am happy to torrent the full show in flac on etree, but so far i've had all of 1 person mention they want it - so i'm not exactly in a rush, what with work and sleep getting in the way. ;)

Even though I recorded the webcast, I'd also like to see a FLAC. version of your recording...once you've gotten some sleep and have the time to put it together, of course. The webcasts can't be circulated as a torrent, and having any Australian show circulate is kind of rare for us fans. In the band's history, I think there's only one of two Australian shows that are available out there.

Thanks for taking the time to share what you have so far. :music

Incredible photos mate. You need to send these to the band. The one of Glenn taking a bow would like brilliant on the Wilco website

Good idea, worth a try! The only email I can find is the support guys for the website... I guess that'll do :)

what were the drones like???

i didnt like them.

the best part of their set was between 2 songs, when someone in the audience yelled out "the comedy festival is down the road". the singer replied "what was that?". the same guy yelled back "you heard me". and that was the end of it. it was just a load of noise to me. I thought that if Wilco kept the same volume (which they did), it'll be a great show (and it was).

the singer was such a poser and show off, but they didnt get anywhere. i also noticed that most of their applause came from way back in the venue. it was one of those acts where you think the song is finishing, but it starts up again.

yeah a little bit pretentious aswell...

it sounded and looked like: "look at me i'm so troubled" but the truth of it is im living in a first world city with a record deal and making a living off my passion so i suppose i'll just have to act like i'm bi-polar to be interesting.

i mean i dont know what this guy's life is actually like but it seemed he wanted it to come accross as pretty tragic and mentally chaotic.

actually, i like the drones... but they were far from their best. they're actually cool guys with great senses of humour...

...and that guy who made the comedy festival gag was a complete loser. i had the misfortune of standing next to him and his singing was loud and horrible during the wilco set, and wouldn't stop pumping his fists...

More encouragement, Adrian! Really great, truly awesome. Whatever your day job is, I hope you can kick it and take photos like this for a living. Unless you want to keep your day job.

awesome, downloading it now

I'll take the recording back to The Palace and make them listen to the bit where Jess told them to give me my money back... they can't ignore me then!!

A Song, if I could retire on a phat rock 'n roll photography lifestyle, I'd be the happiest person on earth. I'm hoping the day job is only around for another 12-18 months though
