jlindquist
Anybody know who is opening this current leg of the tour -- specifically, the show in Rochester, MN? I remember reading it somewhere, but cannot seem to find anything on it today. Thanks.

Stefanie
it's pretty much always on the official shows page too.
Guest Jules
it's pretty much always on the official shows page too. That would have been too easy. Even easier than finding this thread.

jlindquist
That would have been too easy. Even easier than finding this thread. Sincere apologies to all who were burdened by my thoughtless and lazy post. I'm new to this forum, and my search skills are lacking. Thanks for the responses.
gogo
Don't sweat it, j, it's sort of a rite of passage to get hassled for not using the search feature around here. Welcome to VC!

mpnright
from people that have already been to some shows, how has RGC been?
lamradio
http://www.ticketmaster.com/artist/1221907 Cool!! Even though I was kind of hoping they wouldn't have an opening act so that they could play longer (to make up for the reschedule), but they said they were going to make it up to us somehow. Guest Muncle Douchey
Bon Iver opening in Charleston. Woo! unless they cancel again...
cooperissup3r
unless they cancel again... 'they' are a he.
Alastor The Great
from people that have already been to some shows, how has RGC been? They're shit.
blue_94_trooper
'they' are a he. Don't take it all out on Tweedy, I'm sure he didn't make the SNL decision alone. Or did he... (yes, I know what you meant but I don't think you know what Muncle Douchey meant)
solace
'they' are a he. no, actually Bon Iver = a 3 piece currently They're the shit. fixed.
zebra
They're shit. That's a little harsh. I wouldn't go out and buy their music, but they had about two songs that I actually didn't mind.
agonistes
Saying 'they're shit' is a little harsh, yeah, but... not by much. After the fiasco that was Low opening for them last summer -- in Atlanta, they were AWFUL -- I'm surprised RGC was asked. At the Springs show I found it really, really difficult to take them at all seriously. While at least there were a few up-tempo numbers this time, does everything really have to be in a minor key? *Everything?*
zebra
I guess I was just saying I've heard much worse. I actually liked them better than Dr. Dog, but that means nothing....I was there just to see Wilco.
H.Stone
Bon Iver opening in Charleston. Woo! This is the best news I've heard in a long time. He's going to be with them from Indy to NC, and we'll be at Indy, NC, and hopefully SC. Happy Mother's Day to me!!

lamradio
Yeah, Low just about put me to sleep in Charlotte. Don't get me wrong, it's great music and I dig it, but just not great live music.
