Wilco Worshipper
I was just thinking today how cool it is to watch my girls watch and extremely enjoy some of the same movies I watched "back in the day". I don't mean like classic Disney ones but like ones we watched above the age of 10 or so. My girls ABSOLUTELY LUV in order: Uncle BuckFerris Bueller's Day OffThe Princess Bride I get a kick out of when they rewind certain scenes and fall on the floor laughing. In 'Uncle Buck' they rewind and re-enact the going to sleep scene where Buck's niece and nephew are all over the place in the bed and on the floor with him. During 'Ferris' my oldest cracks herself up rewinding the scene where the nurse almost says the "f" word (although she has NO IDEA what the nurse REALLY means ). So what movies of your yesterday do your kids, nieces, nephews, youngin's in the neighborhood get a kick out of?!?
yermom
I have a 4 year old female spawn who digs: Labyrinth (We're in agreement that Sarah is kind of a jerk.)Spaceballs (She actually likes it more than I do. The scene where they call each other "assholes," she thinks they're saying "spaceballs" so I don't correct her on that. ) The Black Hole (Which actually is a Disney flick, but different y'know.)Young Frankenstein (When the monster is rocking Madeline Kahn's world, my daughter asks "What's he doing to her?" and I just say "Tickling and wrestling and stuff." Griddles
I am in college and have watched all these movies just the last few months. Does that count? Also Princess Bride and Labyrinth are two of the most quoted movies at my house.

dondoboy
For teenagers I would go with "The In Laws". With Peter Falk. (Not that awful remake). Maybe my favorite movie.
Lammycat
For teenagers I would go with "The In Laws". With Peter Falk. (Not that awful remake). Maybe my favorite movie.Yes! I've touted this movie for years to many folks. Highly underrated. What a terrific film. Possibly my favorite all-time, as well. So many great scenes and Peter Falk is superb for his role. ed. I tried watching It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World with my 6 and 8 year-olds a week ago and they just couldn't get into it. Maybe I'll try Pulp Fiction or Apocalypse Now....
