myboyblue Posted April 23, 2009 Share Posted April 23, 2009 i def agree about the variety, but other than 3 songs it doesn't quite have as great of hooks, which is a big part of what i love so much about the Keys. that said, his solo live show w/ Hacienda backing him was better than any of the half dozen plus Keys shows i've seen. I love the Auerbach album and it's definitely one of my favorites for the year. Attack & Release is still my favorite...assuming I had to pick one. I don't. Agreed on the solo show. I'd pay to see that again. I've only seen Black Keys once but the solo Dan/Hacienda show was far better. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
