remphish1
http://www.wmur.com/money/20057331/detail.html I guess you couldn't buy a diet coke and cigs for $3.63 here?!
brianjeremy
I had to stand in line at a gas station behind some snaggeled-toothed hoothcie-may today. She was complaining about cig. prices and trying to use "intelligent" discourse on how to make a wise economic choice when buying her fix. I just wanted to purchase my cherry coke, but heck no!!! I had to listen to her talk about what her favorite brand was, and how many packs could she get if she got this other brand and on and on and on. Just buy a pack already! Needless to say, I was not happy.
okp greg
... when buying her fix. I just wanted to purchase my cherry coke... Haha. But seriously. I quit in January and they've already gone up a dollar since then. I'm pretty indifferent to the rising costs now, but during the course of smoking I switched from a brand I liked more, American Spirits, to a cheaper brand, camels. God it's felt great actually breathing for the last six months.

brianjeremy
Used to do both, now I do neither. Spend my dough on more important things I guess.
OOO
Used to do both, now I do neither. Spend my dough on more important things I guess. I think history will end up judging beer as more important than cherry coke.
brianjeremy
I think history will end up judging beer as more important than cherry coke. Perhaps, but I only drink soft drinks maybe 2-3 time a month vs. chain-smoking and drinking myself into oblivion for several nights out of a week for several years. I sobered up and tried to be healthy. For me, it was self-destructive. Me drinking a coke 2-3 times a month ain't gonna kill me (I dunno, I hope not).
Skian
Ha! After smoking for 31 years, I quit!!! Almost a year now. Its nice to say " I could care less about the price of smokes" I quit and its nice to be a quiter!!!!!!!!!
Calexico
You people should be buying smokes over here! 20 Marlboro Red are €8:15 or thereabouts. That's about 11 and a half bucks. We are the 4th most expensive country to live in on the planet. And if that is not exactly right, it still is pretty expensive to exist here. Bastards.
