Mike Dow
You did a great job recording this show. I've been listening this afternoon and it sounds even better than I had expected! Man, it jumps me every time when that ferry horn kicks in on Jesus, etc. Listen for the smile in Jeff's voice directly after.
kwhitehead
Nothing to add except I have to hand it to the Maine folks, I haven't smelled that much high-grade weed in the crowd in quite awhile. It just kept wafting the entire show. God bless New England.
nalafej
33rd Wilco show (12th state) and it was a fun one. Woke up and walked by Glenn on the street. Met Nels at the record signing. Listened to most of sound check while walking around the piers/ wharfs (Deeper Down, Kamera, At My Window, Hesitating Beauty, Just a Kid) and just enjoyed the heck out of watching the set. Wilco and GA seating are a good combo. So glad the rain held out and that they played a lot of the newest album. Portland is a cool town.

auroraborealis
pretty great soundcheck set!! would have liked to hear that too! just curious...how many hours before the doors do they usually do the soundcheck? does it depend on the venue?

Gates were at 6p. I think it does depend on the venue tho. I was lucky enough to be invited to one in Boston in '07 and it was at 3p.

laurie
Hi all, here finally are my Portland pics. We just got home from "Wilco the Vacation" saw 4 shows and took pics at 3 of them. Portland was challenging dt large AMP in my face but hope you like my not so prfessional photos. The subject of them was so cool, my lack of skill was tolerable http://www.flickr.com/photos/24028190@N07/sets/72157621769143712/show/
