Gabe32
Which 4 would you prefer if Wilco only released 4 albums?

Gabe32
I didn't know how to fairly group them. So I alternated releases.

lost highway
This doesn't work for me because it splits my favorite releases up and uses a live album. This is like someone asking you to play Russian Roulette at a family reunion.

Shakespeare In The Alley
What is the point of this? You essentially just grouped four albums together randomly, and used a live album? If you'd done the first four and the last four, It'd make sense. But this...no.
MattZ
No, that wouldn't make sense either.

Sparky speaks
What if Wilco could only release seven albums which ones would you choose in the order they were released?

Gabe32
alright take it easy on the groupings. there's no right way to group any half of an artists albums. i was just really bored at work and was looking at wilco's discography on wikipedia and imagining which 4 i'd get rid of if i had to. i chose alternating releases rather than the later 4 vs the newer 4 (all the 'true fans' would clearly vote for the older 4). jmacomber68w
I voted for the 2nd one, however if I could pick my 4 it would be: YHF, AGIB, ST, and BT (I think WTA is better than being there, however I would want a bit of variety) this is a strange thread....why four? Strange, yes, BUT we have come a long way my friend http://forums.viachicago.org/topic/27263-rank-the-wilco-albums/page__p__835565__hl__rank__fromsearch__1entry835565
drop dead ed
what about trying to pairing up the albums...haha lets waste time and see what albums would pair up the best, or better yet compliment each other. Similar to mustard and ketchup, what albums would go well together? FAIL? you decide!
Guest Runaway Jim
I think WTA is better than being there I just puked my f-in guts out.

jmacomber68w
I just puked my f-in guts out. I'll rephrase for you, while I think Being There has a better collection of songs, as an album I enjoy WTA more at this moment in time. Whenever I attend a Wilco show, I hope for the show to be Being There, Summerteeth heavy, but as a studio album, I enjoy WTA
