tinnitus photography
I should be set to shoot the Oct 3rd show for Backstreets mag, but i'd prefer seeing _Darkness_ to BITUSA.

bobfrombob
I should be set to shoot the Oct 3rd show for Backstreets mag, but i'd prefer seeing _Darkness_ to BITUSA.BitUSA is probably my least favorite Springsteen album. It is likekly all wrapped up in how huge Bruce got at the time but I have never warmed up to that one.

I have a hard time with those albums...
bobfrombob
Do you like Lucky Town, Human Touch and Tunnel of Love Better? I have a hard time with those albums...I really like Tunnel of Love a lot. I think Lucky Town is also very good. Human Touch has some good songs but I'm not as crazy about it. There will always be discussion about the great single album he could have made if he'd just taken the best stuff off LT and HT.
LouisvilleGreg
I think even a comp of LT and HT for me would still likely rank last in the catalog. TGOTJ is a bit long and slow in places and I really don't like the latest very much, but that '92 stuff to me is pretty generic. I far like BITUSA over both of those albums, and big pop production aside, there are some dark tunes on that record, and "Bobby Jean," just slays me every time, even after 25 years of listening to it. Wendy
I can't believe he did that, but it looks like he made it back onstage in one piece.
tinnitus photography
i was in the back getting a beer during 'hungry heart,' having ditched my camera gear at the production office, and i missed this whole thing. funny. btw, some of my shots are up at Backstreets:http://backstreets.com/news.html he pulled a young girl onto the stage for 'out in the street'
Killer Whales
I'm actually a big fan of BitUSA. That middle run of songs of Downbound Train through I'm Goin' Down is pretty awesome. I also still consider Dancing in the Dark a great song and I'm always excited to see it live
JerseyMike
Leaving Austin in the morning, be there on the 9th. Born in the USA: some the best songs Bruce has put on record combined with the worst, early '80's production. It sounds so dated, but hopefully not so much live. Bruce in the crowd is hilarious. I never told my "meeting Bruce" story on here, but I can assure you, he is every bit as salt of the earth as his songs indicate. For those of you in the area this weekend, I will be rejoining my old band for some shows. Saturday Ocotber 10thChester Arts FairMain St.Chester, NJ12 PM (in the afternoon!)**This is with my new band, The Wilson Street Refugees, which was formed here in Austin. Acoustic guitars, upright bass, accordian, fiddle. Saturday October 10thJimmys Rock Club (formerly Manny's)Moonachie Ave.Moonachie, NJ9 PM**with my old band, The Dirty Doves. Just good, ol' badass rock and roll music**Also with Echofission and Jamie Gerard Sunday October 11th**intimate semi-private show with many very special guests we are trying to keep relatively quiet. We will announce the when and where at our shows on Saturday.**
