That will vary widely - one of the effects of the Information Age is that anybody can find any sort of news to suit their pre-existing prejudices. For many, if they hear something they don't like, it's much easier to claim the source is biased, rather than to try to adjust their viewpoint to deal with the new information.

So true. "All the news you WANT to hear".

 

In my opinion, this is a big factor in the polarization of this country. And as both sides of the "argument" get more and more radical in their rhetoric it only helps to fan the flames of a potentially violent outburst.
