LouieB
I don't care how good anyone's hearing is....you can't tell the difference between any format in a car. There is simply too much extranious noise to tell the difference. Anyone who says otherwise is basically lying or downloaded some really low quality files. And since you can't play LPs in a car... Analogman
No problem. Glad I could help in some way. It's a pretty crazy store. I'm usually on the verge of a panic attack every time I go in because I'm so overwhelmed. And I never bring a list, which I should start doing to make things easier on me. They have a very large USED & NEW vinyl section, so if anyone is looking for anything in particular let me know at some point. I usually go once a month like I said. (Edit: Maybe even more now, since I realized that they are open to midnight every night. It's a good place to go to around that time if nothing is going on.)There's even an "ODD" & "MISCELLANEOUS" vinyl section that is not listed by bands. So I figure one could spend an afternoon with their tongues wagging out at such oddities. A tale of the cursed cd. I got that cd from the place you suggested. It turned out to be the one I already had. They had the wrong photos with the right description - or something like that. Time passed. I sent it back. Some more time passed. They sent me another one. It turned out to be the same one I already had (again). I gave it away - instead of messing with it anymore. I found one on Amazon again - for 70 bucks. I decided that was too much. I found one one Ebay - starting bid 5 bucks. I put down 20 bucks. Time passed. I got outbid by 50 cents. I found another one on Ebay. I put down 20 bucks on it. Time passed. I won it. A weeks goes by from when the seller put it in the mail. So I am wondering if I am not meant to have the cd. The guy above me handed it to me just now. It was stuck in another neighbor's mailbox.(That's What She Said.) The End. It is still sealed - brand new. So it looks like the wait was worth it.
