gatr9197
this show was absolutely amazing. actually traveled to J'ville the last time they were in Florida to see them at Florida Theater (actually got introduced to Bon Iver this way). The MB show blew this old experience out of the water.
suites
Did anyone see or hear about Keith Richards and/or Ron Wood? My friend says he saw one of them with kid at the show.
bböp
Did anyone see or hear about Keith Richards and/or Ron Wood? My friend says he saw one of them with kid at the show. Well, one of the guys who worked at the venue could make a second career out of being a 'Keef' lookalike. He had the whole look down. If you just caught a glimpse of him, you'd definitely do a double take.
gatr9197
So please don't rake me over the coals for this one, but did anyone find a recording of the show yet? I've been scouring the internet and can't find jack......

bobbob1313
I saw that guy too. I also saw a homeless guy outside that looked like Axl Rose.

Central Scrutinizer
The sound is pretty good -- Pat's Ed McMahon impression was hilarious. I saw what bobbob meant about the acoustic set, there are parts that get drowned by the chatter -- although the taper says his mics were in front of the soundboard. Very appreciative of his excellent efforts!
Central Scrutinizer
Bluegrass casino queenI don't know if anyone noted this but, recently listening to Tweedy-Bennett at Old Town School Of Folk Music Festival (7-25-99) and this is the same version of Casino Queen they played. Did Tweedy do this version solo or did the original lineup ever do it in this fashion? Like Tweedy channeling Tombstone Blues?

I've heard recordings of Tweedy solo; Tweedy/Bennett; and older versions of Wilco playing both arrangements...
