mpoday
Lupos is a great venue. Site of my first Wilco show, on the day that YHF was officially released. Wish I still lived in Providence to catch this show (on my birthday, no less). Seems that Wilco has outgrown this size venue, so it should be a treat. Enjoy! Wilco Worshipper
We'll be there! I don't know about the area but we were just at Lupo's a few months ago to see Dr Dog. It's a small, intimate venue unlike anything I've ever been able to see Wilco in. It's no Cicero's, Lounge Ax or Double Door but ya know, it'll do...
tinnitus photography
the Capital Center for the Arts in Concord NH is a bit smaller (1300 vs 1500). these shows are gonna be outstanding.

zc427
Is anyone else a little bit worried about the NJ run before then? I'm doing 5 shows in 7 days starting with Lupo's ending with the E factory..... I am the most excited for the Lupo's show and the E Factory...... I'm over-thinking it in my head..... last time I was there P-Funk was taking crack hits between songs.... so I guess this is a different scene but I just am hoping next weeks run will be nuts and they just don't do a "regular" "evening with wilco set" (just kidding incase you were about to have your eyes pop out of your head for thinking I actually said) I am just hoping the rift-raft that tends to co-habulate around there stays out hahahaha I'll be the one holding the sign that says "Shake it off Glenn" -Zac
roadhse ma
All for Shake it off I am doing 3 in 4 nights last one in NHBut will get my rest and Enjoy...Esp w/ this weather coming up round here s/b grand!
BillLee
Wife and I are really looking forward to Lupo's. To prepare, we've got the Sonos on Wilco random play, an audio backdrop which will continue all weekend. Just completed example: I Thought I Held You -> Impossible Germany -> Woodgrain -> Deeper Down. OK, so we probably won't be hearing Woodgrain Sunday night (I hope not) but most anything else is possible, right? Really hoping for the acoustic Not for the Seasons that I've been reading about!!! 4on4
I'm driving down from just south of Boston to Lupo's. First time seeing Wilco. Very pumped for the show. Anyone know if there is an opener for this show? Anyone have an idea of when Wilco will hit the stage? I've become impatient in my old age (not heeding the advice "Please Be Patient With Me.") I haven't been to Lupo's since they turned the upstairs into a theater thing. Saw Buddy Guy there about 10 years ago and it was amazing. I also sawe Paul Westerberg (my personal Jebus) there in 1996 (on my birthday no less!) Hoping for Pot Kettle Black.

And Wilco is pretty prompt so get there early if you want a good spot. Doors are at 7, show at 8, according to Lupo's website. Have fun newbie! I really want to hear Monday because it was the first song I heard that made me say, "Why have I not been listening to this band? This is what I love about rock n roll." Pot Kettle Black is my next request. I also want Theologians and I'm sure I'll get it. It is ironic since it seems to be a staple and I usually hate those. I've seen Cracker about 15 times and I wish they'd never play "Low" again live but they always do. Same with REM and "Losing My Religion." They are both good songs but I have heard them 10 million times and they are the ones that n00bs ONLY know.
