AJ673
should be based upon height, damn you tall people!
tinnitus photography
instead, it's based on time of arrival, which, unlike height, is easily influenced.
Magnetized
And, for outdoor shows in particular, fleetness of foot once the gates are opened. I'm not kidding--it's a good idea to forego the sandals and wear tennis shoes.

remphish1
I will not apologize for either my height or my desire to be closer to the stage.Amen! BTW what if you are tall and are nearsighted??? Wouldn't be fair to be relegated to the back!
JAK2112
I will not apologize for either my height or my desire to be closer to the stage. As a 6'2" male, i couldn't agree more. I never push my way up to the front of a crowd, so if i am where i am, its because i arrived at the appropriate time. If you can't deal with people standing in front of you because they arrived earlier, deal with it. However, i have on occasion switched places with exceptionally short people at the front of shows if they ask nicely, im a sucker for that sort of stuff from time to time. I may be tall, but I don't muscle my way past people to get closer. If I'm up front, it's because I showed up early.
