Scott Gyrrr
Fairly broad subject I know but tell me about an artist you dig. Betriz Milhazes is a Brazilian artist. I like her the vibrant energy and femininity of her art. http://en.wikipedia....eatriz_Milhazes

Queen Amaranthine
Classics, mostly: any of the French Impressionists, Frida Kahlo, Jackson Pollock, Dali, and some modernist stuff like Matisse. Those Betriz Milhazes paintings are beautiful! I don't follow many current/post-modern artists, although it's fun to go to modern art museums just to see something unique or off the wall and soak up the creative vibes. PopTodd
Edward Hopper has been my favorite ever since I was 11.I love Hopper, too. I love the psychology of his paintings -- the things they evoke. The loneliness of the lone figure in "Nighthawks at the Diner" being the most famous example. But then in this one:What, or who, is casting that shadow across the ground around the fire hydrant? There are little evocations like that in just about everything he's done.
