Kim Bodnia
This is the second list I see (the other being Paste's) where R.E.M. Collapse into Now is omitted. Not that it surprises me, the album wasn't as good as its predecessor Accelerate, but I think this is another sign that the band had ceased to be relevant in today's landscape. On the other hand, The Decemberists are on both lists, while Adele was so omnipresent in charts that by inertia is falling into every list, personally I'm not that excited about her music. Stuff like the Drive by Truckers and Jason Isbell is new to me, so it's too early to comment on those.
bleedorange
There are a lot of albums on that list that I thought were huge disappointments (DBT, Dawes, Isbell, MMJ, Centro-Matic, Fleet Foxes, A.A. Bondy, etc.)
JAK2112
I love the new Dawes record, glad to see it got recognized so well on this list. Oh, and Wilco too. EDIT: Wow, Johnny Corndawg made the list too, that's a bit surprising but cool as well

uncool2pillow
Not sure how someone could like North Hills and be disappointed in Nothing is Wrong. No sophomore slump there. I can see not liking the band altogether, but if you like North Hills, I think Nothing is Wrong has a very similar sound, only better songs. There are 4 or 5 killers on there and no filler I can think of.
opsopcopolis
Any list like that that does not contain the Tedeschi Trucks Band album automatically loses credibility for me
