This is what blaphemy looks like in the modern age

Clearly some people are completely out of new ideas.

What I would like to see is a sequel to "It's a Wonderful Life" and see how THAT story turned out.

Zuzu's petals turn into giant flower monsters and Clarence comes back down to Earth with Michael the Archangel to do battle with the unholy creatures.

Actually, this is what blasphemy looks like in the modern age. Go out and get a sense of perspective this weekend.

Bjorn:

No need for the perspective. I have it and was just being overdramatic on a message board.

I get it though, you expected to see something truly, genuinely horrifying and you just saw something trivial.

Again, it's a message board. Sorry if I offended you with my hyperbole.

Blasphemy is the act of insulting or showing contempt or lack of reverence for a religious deity or the irreverence towards religious or holy persons or things.

Bjorn your picture was not blasphemous, it was just plain horrible act. And calling it blasphemous actually does a disservice to the horrible crime committed in your picture. I don't need to see anything like that ever again, especially in a post about Christmas Story 2. Maybe you need a sense of the English language and perspective (of the joking nature of Todd's post) before you post such a terrible picture.

On another note they made a Christmas Story sequel in 1994 called It Runs in the Family (aka My Summer Story).

And Christmas Story 2 looks awful, 1) Ralphie looks insane, 2) the story looks inane, 3) as far as I can tell it is not based on the works of Jean Shepard, 4) Jean Shepard will not be doing the narration (cause he is dead).

I'm actually looking forward to what they can do with a little CGI and the frozen flag pole scene.

I always found the original lacking in special effects.
