bböp
A fun second night at the Greek in front of "the best rock audience anywhere" even if time (as in an 11 p.m. curfew) cheated us out of a Lonely 1 closer (which was on the printed setlist, but not played). C'est la vie... Avenue Assassin
can someone tell me . . . did that just happen?
Madrone
I'm pretty sure that just happened. Great show. The OSM opener was stunning, and I enjoyed getting the Say You Miss Me bustout... that song is a favorite of mine.

Was really happy to hear You Are My Face and Via Chicago was a lot of fun too. I would pay a fair amount of money to get my hands on last nights show.

My guess is they will be up on etree in the coming weeks.
auctioneer69
9th Wilco show and the 2nd time I have seen them at the Greek. Thought it was a fantastic set-list. Yet again, Wilco showed they can do practically the whole gamut of musical styles. "You Are My Face" and "On and On and On" were wonderful surprises. Loved the run of "Passenger Side", "Forget The Flowers" and "Christ For President". I requested "Kicking Television" with little expectation I'd actually hear it. For any fans out there who haven't seen a show at the Greek at Berkeley it has to one of the best places anywhere to see a show. Sight-lines are great and the sound incredible for such a large venue. It's obvious that Wilco love playing there.
Sandy in SFCA
Loved the run of "Passenger Side", "Forget The Flowers" and "Christ For President". This was my favorite part of the show, too. It was a great 2 days at the Greek. The crowd was really into both shows. Lots of people dancing, singing along and, thankfully, not talking. Realy enjoyed meeting VCers Wilco Me and Kidsmoke, who I recognized from Red Rocks, while waiting for gates to open. I took your advice, Diane, and made reservations for Solid Sound next summer. Perfect sure for the impending tour hiatus induced depression :-)

linclink
Just released on Oct. 24, 2012- Roadcase #12 & #13 from consecutive nights, Sept. 21 & 22 at The Greek Theater in Berkley, CA.http://wilco.kungfus...keley-ca-wilr12http://wilco.kungfus...keley-ca-wilr13 27 whopping songs each night, and as is the case with consecutive shows they play in the same town- great song variation within the set lists...9 songs repeated each night, 18 fresh & new- making for 45 different songs played over the two nights. This is pretty much the same sort of thing they did in NYC with Roadcase shows #3, 4 & 5 from 3 consecutive shows in NYC where they played 9 songs that repeated on any given night with 18 fresh ones for that show, giving you 63 songs over that 3 show run. From this new batch "On and On and On" is a song that hasn't appeared on previous Roadcase releases- all the other songs have.
