Preferred B
I don't have the setlist - sorry! I'm sure someone else must. But I wanted to get the topic started (and honor bböp by using the correct title format - at least I hope I did.) The band had an hour and a half to play, and it went by way too quickly. It was great to hear "Give Back The Key To My Heart," as well as a couple of local nods - "New Madrid" and "Casino Queen." The National, who played on the same stage as Wilco an hour earlier, joined the band for "California Stars." Or, at Jeff said, 90% of The National. I don't believe vocalist Matt Berninger was on stage. The National's horn players also assisted on "I'm The Man." Jeff mentioned that there has been a lot of loss in the area lately, and hoped that music was as helpful to the audience as it is to him. "Born Alone" was dedicated to Bob Reuter, and Jeff's brother Greg. Later, "Happy Birthday" was sung in honor of Jeff's dad, Bob, who is turning (has turned?) 80. Random detail for people who care about such things: Jeff had a guitar in hand for the whole "Art of Almost," though he still didn't use it for the first verses. I don't think I'd personally seen that before.
H.Stone
Hmmm...set list. Is it helpful if I name songs in random order? They opened with "Misunderstood" and closed with "Casino Queen" and then "Hoodoo" with shirtless cowbell thrusting that could be ... enjoyed?...from the very back. Other songs: IATTBYH, Via Chicago, Art of Almost, I Might, Forget The Flowers, New Madrid, Give Back The Key To My Heart, and CA Stars and I'm The Man with members of The National, as B said. The best part of this show for me was having our daughters along for their first live Wilco experience. So of course I didn't enjoy the show from my usual vantage points, but it was a lot of fun dancing and playing catch and generally experiencing happiness with them in the far back while Wilco provided the soundtrack. My youngest is 8 and enjoyed the light show in particular. Between the lights being synched to the beat and the cacophony during Via Chicago, she has decided she loves the drummer. (Oh! They played Heavy Metal Drummer!) She's such a cliché. It was also funny that our oldest is scandalized if she hears us swear, but she didn't have any problem with Jeff using "bullshit" twice on stage. We even gave her a little hassle about it, and she declared, "It's different." Rock star double standards! So it was a great show for many reasons and will always be a special one for us. Rock onward, Wilco.

H.Stone
The Riverfront makes no mention of New Madrid, anyone remember when it was played in the set? Oh my god, P is actually indispensable! I can't believe he's not even on here to give us a little hassle about our shoddy (read: non-existent) bookkeeping. Hmmm, maybe after Born Alone? Even Wilcoworld doesn't have it included in the setlist!
Preferred B
It's also missing Passenger Side!
Magnetized
Paul has got to provide this board with his itinerary. We are obviously incapable of assuming the burden of accurate reporting. I know I was sweating bullets at the Americanarama show in Virginia Beach thinking it might fall to me to report the set list. I was relieved to find out Paul was there, leaving me free to just enjoy the show!

bböp
yeah, you really shit the bed here. Shape up! I agree...you shoulda been scribbling notes for all you're worth! Come on, man...er wo-man! Sorry, been a little busy lately to check in here. But I do appreciate the adherence (mostly) to thread title style by the Preferred One. And thanks for the reports, you guys! Sounds like it was a fun day! I will say that the setlist "Wilco" posts on their FB/Wilcoworld definitely aren't always accurate. Usually the discrepancy happens when the band audibles on stage or cuts some stuff, but weird that they missed New Madrid right in the middle of the set.

lzylight
thx 4 the corrected setlist..mine disappeared (sweat melted it off my forearm) i loved the cow bell fella, was he a festy stray or music tech from wilco???..he looked like f.zappas love chile..shirtless, wavy & melty..gently dirty dancing w/ the band..hey, nice to hear a 'lil UT in the Lou..ummh "MORE COW BELL!" plz. Magnetized
That's Josh. I think his primary role in the band is as Pat's guitar tech, but he's developing quite a following as a snake-hipped, cowbell-playing sex machine on Hoodoo Voodoo. He's got the pornstar moustache for it. Seriously, that's one little piece of corny fun that I hope they don't retire anytime soon.
ameliaclark
I was just reminiscing about this set. We had really good spots in the crowd and were able to see very well. "Passenger Side" was the standout for me that night.
