LouieB
While all of you are waiting for Wilco to go back on tour, my daughter and I are going to do a two part Wilco Tribute on her regularly scheduled weekly program "The Devil's Radio" on WDBX.org in Carbondale, IL. Many of you know us in real life, but some of you don't. Some of you have listened to Rosie's show and some of you have not. She does play Wilco and associated bands on a regular basis every Thursday night at 10 PM - 12 AM central time. Although she and I have done theme shows before when I am visiting her, I will be spending two weeks in Carbondale for work, so that gives us two weeks in a row to be on-air together. We decided to do a Wilco show and when I started to unload the shelves of Wilco and Wilco related material I realized we have way too much of two hours so we are going to expend to four. (Over a crate's worth) This will start next Thursday April 24 and then again May 1st. We are not sure if we are doing early and later Wilco or what or some other breakout, but we have LPs and CDs and 45s of Wilco, Uncle Tupelo, Autumn Defense, Nels Cline in various groups of his own and others, John and Laurie, Glenn Kotche solo and with others, Loose Fur, others doing Wilco songs, Wilco doing covers of others songs on comps and soundtracks, Jay Bennett, Leroy, etc. You all have the same stuff I am sure, but we have the radio show. If you have a request we probably can get it in, but don't go too obscure or go to the concerts that are not official. We aren't doing show boots (unless Rosie overrules me.) This should be fun. Rosie and I have the intergenerational patter down pretty well and have been to shows together over the years. Tune us in if you can. thanks. LouieB
Mr. Heartbreak
I vote for Wilco's cover of Burned by Buffalo Springfield. That is, assuming you have it (I bet you do).

LouieB
I do have Burned. It's in the pile for sure. I like Blasting Fonda, but will have to get it off the net if we play it since I don't have a copy. We will play some obscure stuff, but also associated bands too. Listen in for some TLA and some Fred Lonberg-Holm with the young Glenn Kotche. And the real question, will I be allowed to play Pickin' on Wilco. LouieB
