indy81
JD and the Straight Shot? Knicks owner James Dolan's vanity project? Pretty prestigious company! "Why Why Why" sounds pretty good, though.
lost highway
It sounds like a George Harrison tune.
froggie
It sounds like a George Harrison tune. so does 'you never know'... but it's sounds good from that snippet!

Shelter from the Storm – Bob Dylan http://filmmusicreporter.com/2014/09/26/st-vincent-soundtrack-details/And here's the snippet for "Everyone Hides" ... man "Do The Minimum", "Why Why Why" (both of which I've heard full length versions of) & now the intriguing "Everyone Hides"...this guys cast-offs that didn't make the album are stacking up like a pile 'O gold here... how many more are there are out? These three plus "Love Like A Wire" & "Only The Lord Knows" & we've got another 1/2 an album!!!https://soundcloud.com/sony-soundtracks/jeff-tweedy-everyone-hides
lost highway
"Only the Lord Knows", along with "Jesus Wept" are on the last Mavis Staples record. They've been playing them since Jeff wrote them, although I wouldn't mind a studio version with him singing lead. Mavis' version of "Jesus Wept" was amazing.

Mavis' version of "Jesus Wept" was amazing.I've yet to hear him/them do "Jesus Wept" but I'd love to! "Only The Lord Knows" by Tweedy is just killer & "One True Vine" is one of my fave deep cut songs that he ever wrote too- so glad it ended up being resurrected for the album, & as the title track no less. Ever hear of Jeff/Wilco doing "Every Step"? Love to hear that one too...love "You Are Not Alone" as well!!

Mr. Heartbreak
Holy crap, that looks hilarious.
mgordy
These songs sound great. If Do The Minimum and these two tracks replaced some of the songs on the back half of Sukierae, it would have held up much better as a double album in my opinion.
kewi
Grrrrr! What's this "Album Only" shit?! I HATE when iTunes does that. I just want the two Tweedy songs!!!!
rhino4evr
I wonder if we will ever get a seperate release with these b-sides. I don't really want to buy this movie soundtrack for 2 songs...
