I wonder when NPR stopped allowing people from Canada to stream their content. Oh well, found a stream on CBC. Two songs in now. Digging the retro country vibe. Taps that '60s, early '70s country sound I dig.
Oil Can Boyd
Just got to this era in the new Replacements book so I thought I'd give it a listen straight through. It holds up pretty well. The production is a little weird. And Left of the Dial remains one of my favorite Replacements songs.
CortezTheKiller
KinksFront.jpgNice! Had it spinning earlier. I bit the bullet and picked up the first 7 seven Kinks records on vinyl. The first four were a bundle package on Pop Market. Something Else, Village Green & Arthur I sprung for individually. They did a great job with the reissues. They sound fantastic!
