worldrecordplayer
Who'd have thought we'd go a whole Solid Sound with no Shot in the Arm and no Handshake Drugs. I haven't checked the setlist database, but it sure feels like Handshake Drugs has been dropped from the live shows. I don't remember hearing it for a long time now. I don't remember hearing it for a long time now.You are right - it has been dropped. I thought we had a good chance to hear it Saturday, given that two records were off-limits. It sure was a staple for a long time. Maybe Handshake Drugs will become Wilco's St. Stephen over the next 6-7 years. The crowd will erupt when they play it next, in 2023. tomstrumreed
Have you ever seen them play Spiders as intense as that? Jeff was SHREDDING it
chuckrh
I listened to the webcast. Unreal good. Playing night 1 now. NYCtaper version. So good. I'll most likely buy it if shows up in Roadcase. This tape is pretty mighty though. Supposedly the same guy taped night 2 & the Tweedy set too.
d. boony
It's been two weeks and I'm still stunned at how good both Wilco sets were. Every time I think I've seen enough Wilco shows they pull some genius like that.
