I just remember interviews years apart where Jeff would allude to it and say it would eventually come out, but at this point it doesn't seem likely. Not sure if it makes me feel better or worse knowing that they're sitting on it. It's funny, I would get so excited when they would announce a tour dates in Japan. Jeff has said, a while ago now, that the music for the third Loose Fur record is done, but that it was just a matter of him sitting down and putting lyrics to it. But obviously he has been pretty busy with Wilco and Tweedy band stuff the past few years, so I'm sure that got put on the back burner. I agree "Insignificance" may be the best overall, but "Simple Songs" is super underrated. I'd also say that "Eureka" plays like a slightly lesser "Insignificance" which is just fine for those of us wanting more of that mode of O'Rourke. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
