  1. Sorry, I've struck out on live Leo. I still think I have some somewhere, but damned if I can find it.
  2. quintupled (fifthed?). Tyranny is one of my all-time favorite albums. I can't recommend it highly enough. As for live TL, I'll look around through my stuff. I'm not sure I have any soundboard recordings, but I might have something that's decent enough to listen to.
  3. I wish I could help, but that town kinda bores me. I'm sure there's stuff to do, but I've never found it. If you're a guitarist (or even if you just like looking at guitars), you should definitely go to Elderly Instruments over in Lansing proper.
  4. What, exactly, are you on about? How would you spell it differently?
  5. OSU won't get past Michigan. That's right, I said it. Come November 18, I may regret saying it, but the spooging over the Buckeyes had gotten a little too intense in here.
  6. The Undertones recorded that? (It's a Stiff Little Fingers original.)
  7. I can't stand the Lions, but living where I do I can't help but pay attention to them. I think they'll be considerably better than 3-13 this year, and 8-8 isn't impossible. That said, I think my Bears and the Vikings will both finish above them in the standings. I see the NFC North ending up something like this: Bears 10-6 Vikings 9-7 Lions 7-9 Packers 4-12 I might be overly optimistic about the Bears, but if both Grossman and Griese stay healthy, their offense might not totally suck this year.
  8. I was going to say that this is one of those years when it seems like anything could happen. That, however, ain't-a gonna happen.
  9. I bought bagels but I forgot that we don't currently have a toaster. Breakfast may have to wait until I run out to the toaster store. This is really important stuff.
  10. I just thought I'd re-post that so everyone can enjoy it again. All I've done in this thread is point out that it's difficult to take someone seriously who throws the word "treasonous" around so casually, and to ask you for examples of treasonous (or "frighteningly close to treasonous") utterings of elected officials. Beyond that, I used some of your own words against you, something that obviously pissed you off -- a lot, because since then you've been acting like a spoiled child. At this point I don't even need to say anything else. You've shown your true colors, and they don't paint a pr
  11. I think maybe that dictionary of yours could be put to better use in looking up the word "attack." So far, the closest thing to actual attacks I've seen in this thread are these: You claim you're being attacked, but you're the only one I see doing any attacking. If you really want a reasoned debate on something, try not calling people pieces of shit. I can't speak for anyone else, but whenever someone does that to me, it makes me considerably less enthusiastic about devoting any time or effort into addressing that person's arguments. How's that search for "frighteningly close to treaso
  12. You're right, Bush is bad. Please provide an example of something that an elected official said that is "frighteningly close to treasonous." It's becoming readily apparent that you don't care one bit about an actual dialogue with anyone on this.
  13. Hey, you're the one who used the word "treasonous." What does that accomplish? edit: OK, explanation came after I started this post. I'd like to see an example of what those elected officials said that you think rises to the level of treason, however.
  14. Heck, I don't need some website for that. cryptique - apply directly to the forehead! cryptique - apply directly to the forehead! cryptique - apply directly to the forehead!
  15. Yeah, that pretty much keeps me from taking anything else he says the least bit seriously.
  16. My niece's name is Olive. Just one more tiny reason why I need to see this film.
  17. ...but this was a better one: ...except that the version of "Blue" on the CD isn't nearly as good as the version on the LP. Not sure why they did that. I wish I could get a good digital copy of the LP version. He's been busy playing for Brazil and, among others, AC Milan and AS Roma.
  18. I assume you mean chihuahua cheese. I second that wholeheartedly. I don't like colby (seems like the cheese version of rubber to me), so I tend to avoid co-jack too, but I've had co-jack melted in stuff and it works well enough. Just plain monterey jack would work better, probably. Crap. I just got back from dinner and now I'm all jonesin' for cheese. DAMN YOU VC!!!
  19. The lawyer who filed this lawsuit should be disbarred for being unbelievably stupid and wasting people's time.
  20. Yeah, I confess, it has its uses. (Losing my cheese snob cred as I type this.) Count the oxymorons!
  21. I was already at from this: Some things just don't deserve to be called "cheese." Speaking of sammiches, Melissa and I just got back from DiBella's. I pity those of you who don't have a DiBella's in your town.
