  1. ...at least you don't feel like walking into a gigantic open air museum. :)

That reminds me of that story my sister in law told me recently after she's been in Brugge :

Two American tourists visiting Brugge asked her about the city closing time...like it were some kind of fake Disney entertainment park :no...:lol !

  2. Does anyone know whether the dvd is region 0 or else ?

    I'd like to pre-order it but I have to make sure it'll play on my European region 2 DVD player;

  3. ....for some reason I am able to open all the files off owl and bear without having a bit torrent...

Of course you don't need bit torrent to dowload files from the Owl/Bear, they're just regular music files like any other

you can download from any website, like mp3 (though in this case they're in flac format).

Bit torrent principle is live file sharing among peers. No peer, no download. Lots of peers, fast download (theoretically).

On the Owl/Bear anyone can download any file any time, they're just there, help yourself B)

I know it might not be 100% clear, so you can read more on : http://wtata.com/faq/

  4. I have never seen this show listed anywhere - must not have been taped.

It has been recorded, for sure. And by one of the board's finest taper (hello...MKHstudio !).

We attended both Gent and Amsterdam shows with him, Miss L., Bebop and my girlfriend.

I confirm the gear and the rig next to Stan's sbd.

(We also had a pint of dutch lager all together with Stan in the city center after the gig :cheers .)

Now, I don't know what happened to the recording, but I'm not willing to hassle Warner about it.

I guess he'll release it whenever he feels like it.

  5. Why meddle with perfection? If there are extra tracks from the sessions, give them away or stick them on iTunes...

    Alex

    Yeah, I know.

Hope they just concentrate on the sound remastering (who cares about the package and we all have the studio leftovers).

I'm just curious to compare with the original version tough.

  6. Just read this on http://www.albumvote.co.uk/news/article.aspx?headline=324

Warner Brothers are to release a re-mastered version of Metallica's classic 1985 album 'Master of Puppets'. Hitting the shops on June 30, the packages will contain a standard LP release and a double deluxe edition. Another album getting a quick makeover is Wilco's 'Yankee Hotel Foxtrot' which will be out with the extra trimmings on June 23.

Pretty good Metallica news I must say :lol
