  1. Your show report is always a good read. Too bad the Scandinavian leg of the tour comes to an end as the interaction with Mr Lotti makes it even more enjoyable. Welfare to you both !
  2. Blame me for the late review delivery... Been distracting Bböp most afternoon.
  3. Your gig report looks a bit rusty too. Looking forward to reading your full review !
  4. Here's a link to the Dublin recording seeded at db.etree.org. (Unfortunately I'm pretty sure it won't show up in the Roadcase as the band's "house taper" was not present this European tour. I hope I'm wrong though.)
  5. That's Carsten's recording. (Thanks a lot by the way !) Pennyghael's coming soon I guess.
  6. You sum it up perfectly. Great show and company throughout. Also, you're welcome any time you wish to cross the pond again for a gig or just hang out for a drink
  7. I don't recall any ruction in the room and, as of yet, I haven't heard of any rising tension between the Netherlands and the USA. However, rumour has it that all US nuclear missiles based in Belgium are now pointing towards the east. Anyway, let's hope these final words from Mr Tweedy will appease the situation. http://youtu.be/MHnIc57YSKE
  8. Great show and banter indeed. And possibly a great audience recording coming up too ;-)

    Wiki?

I am ! Would you mind to post it somewhere and share the link ? Thank you.
  11. This was the funniest thread in a long time.
  12. http://www.sooutoftune.org/ Great bootleg streaming site (Wilco, Tweedy, Uncle Tupelo,...etc)
  13. I made a ringtone out of Jeff's Sammy Hagar impersonation. Get it here. I know. I've got too much time on my hands.
  14. "$6.93". Thank you for another detailed review Paul ! Now it's obvious as to why you always take notes using a pencil instead of a ballpoint pen .
  15. I plan to cross the Atlantic and attend Solid Sound next year. Though it's not clear to me how many nights I need to book. From the Boston shuttle schedule I assume that the festival starts on Thursday late afternoon and ends on Sunday afternoon. However, I'm a bit confused since the page for campsite info shows "check in begins Friday, June 21, at 11am". Since I'm not from the US, any tip and/or advice about accomodation would be greately appreciated. Thanks.
  16. I couldn't agree more with the previous reviews: great show, great setlist (Magazine, Forget The Flowers,... ). Mostly it was great to hang out with you guys (50FootQueenie, Hippityville and a few others), always nice to share great live music with nice people. I really hope we can all join this European Solid Sound Express next year. Keep in touch. ps: I can picture these three Norwegian guys going crazy (and shitfaced), waving their flag frontstage at the E-Werk tonight . I'm not really keen on visiting Svalbard any more after meeting these guys though.
  17. ...And you'll have to suffer Ozark Henry once more in Cologne tomorrow. (It kills me to tell you this but...he's Belgian)
  18. Bböp, you now have a strong contestant for Wilco gig reviews .
