Here's the thing with Fender:

all kidding aside, the MIMs are really good guitars.

I really want to know the Danielle Rouseau + Ben = child connection. Especially, since Rouseau arrived at the island being pregnant.

and....this show is so damn good.

Did you guys get the feeling that when Daniel and the red-haired girl....(Sawyer called her Ginger)...were sitting on the beach and she couldn't remember her mother's name -- it was a hint that they were living in a time before her mother was born?

I re-watched the episodes again tonight and I think I'm beginning to realize that many of the characters have already experienced a certain event at least once before, or know what is going to happen. Like the conversation between Locke and Richard, and Desmond and Daniel, etc.

I like it. Dare I say, you could have brought some percussion in around the 1:30 mark. But, I like it.

I hate that when I burn cds for peeps, there's a good chance they aren't going to be listening to them on headphones. They don't know what they're missing! It's so nice to just sit down and listen to great music sometimes. Most people really just don't spend enough time sprawled out on the floor, staring at the ceiling, letting music penetrate their brains, I think.

Ha. Sometimes I scribble a little "with headphones please" on the CD. Might do this on my record.....such a difference in sound quality.

EDIT: BTW, Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro headphones are really awesome if you are into spending money on these sorts of things.

That really is super. Lots of goof balls and what not these days. That's really great your son is committed to doing something -- for lack of a better word -- awesome.

In my head, for whatever reason, I am using the Back to the Future series as the precedent for how time travel works.....or doesn't. Goddamn this is a cool show. Glad we're all on board for another season here!

No. The speed of the processor, ram and the ability of the motherboard / frontside bus would still be the same.

If your amp has an adjustable bias, you could have a tech "re-bias" your amp. This can be done (essentially) to adjust the level of breakup in a tube amp. What kind of guitar are you using?

I sometimes feel like odd sounds are the most absolutely perfect representations of emotions. I really feel this way about chaos and ambient noise. This is a lot of my draw to Wilco -- fairly simple songs with all sorts of crazy stuff occurring in the background (YHF). Kind of like a representation of leading a normal life with some odd thoughts going on in your head, if that makes sense.

Goddamn....how good is the instrumental to close the album?

OSX > Windows. Even as a lifelong Windows supporter, it's so very true.

Honestly, when the new seasons of Lost start each year, I almost have a "here we go again" type of attitude. What I mean, is that I am completely powerless to how wrapped up in this show I get. Never before have I like a show so much.

let only the best songs get released. i think his work is great, but he does have a habit of mixing his great songs with his not so good songs and if he just released less material he'd have a lot more great albums.

I have felt this way for a long, long time. I have all of his work too.

Holy shit is this album good. Damn. You guys weren't kidding.
