Maybe because they're always getting press about how they're supposedly lesbian lovers and not about their musicianship. BTW: that was a good pun about tattoos.

One of my favorite books of all time:
-
I honestly doubt I could do that. I've forgotten half the books I've read over the years.

Will we be keeping these even after the Christmasy time? I for one vote we do!
-
It's on the Chelsea Walls soundtrack.

When did Charlotte Church get HOT? I remember her as a pristine, chubby choir girl.

I want the 12th and final book to come out so I can finally put this god-awful series to rest. I'm a glutton for punishment sometimes...
-
Well, I could, but in the spirit of the season I'm not going to be an ass.
-
I just play it as Dm the whole time.
-
Those are some strange-ass chords. Thanks for posting them, I'll try the song out later sometime.

How would one play Aaug, A6 and A6/F#? Those chords with / always throw me.

I was convinced long before this thread started that she was a RSGF. I'd particularly like if she were MY RSGF, as I'm now single and like her music.
-
She's particularly geeky-hot in the one with ukelele. Girls in glasses are cute!
-
Those don't seem to be very good pictures of her, unfortunately. The ones from the CD booklets make her eseem extra-hot, but these look kind of bland to me.

My favourite Shakespeare play. Love all the off-shoots like 'Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead!' and the various retellings. My alias as a college DJ was Rosencrantz even.
-
I'd kiss her and the jacket wouldn't even be required.

I don't know much about 80s politics, let alone clandestine Republican politics from that time, so this is an interesting read. Only about 60 pages into it so far.

I play with capo on 4. Also, I play E during the bridge (I don't get the connection, etc) instead of Em.
-
It's slightly easier if you use a bar for the A, but yes, it is quite hard.
-
It doesn't actually. The concept is the same, however. For the 'Walkdown the low E string (4th to 2nd fret)' based on the A-chord you would play e -- 0 B -- 2 G -- 2 D -- 2 A -- 0 E -- 4 then same except for E -- 3 same, E -- 2 For the 'Walkdown the A string (4th to 2nd fret)' on the D-chord you'd play e -- 2 B -- 3 G -- 2 D -- 0 A -- 4 E -- x then same, A -- 3 same, A -- 2 Once you know the concept you can apply it to all the different chords and make it sound all fancy-like.
-
I'll diagram the chords, maybe that would help. G-chord e -- 3 B -- 3 G -- 0 D -- 0 A -- 2 E -- 3 walkdown G to F# e -- 3 B -- 3 G -- 0 D -- 0 A -- 2 (or 0, depending on how you want to play it) E -- 2 G to E e -- 3 B -- 3 G -- 0 D -- 0 A -- 2 (or 0 still) E -- 0 E-chord e -- 0 B -- 0 G -- 1 D -- 2 A -- 2 E -- 0 Hope that helps.

For me it's the lyrics that makes the music not repetative. Also, I know with some 3 chord songs (Breakfast at Tiffany's by Deep Blue Something, for example) the band changes the order of the chords from verse to chorus.
