I've lived in Texas for 33 of my 37 years and I've never once met someone who espoused this view.

If the fairness doctrine is going to be applied to AM talk radio then I think it's only fair for it to apply to FM stations as well--in other words at least one of them needs to be forced to play something I can stand to listen to.

when the time travelers took the one long canoe, why the F didn't they drag the other behind them and let it go at sea to make sure no one followed/caught up to them?!

did he have leslies hooked up for that? Certainly something close. Great addition. As far as the cranked up marshalls, have you ever watched the video feed of monterey? That's crazy loud

If you could play someone's rig for an evening--whether in general or from a specific song, album, era--whose would it be? some that immediately jump to mind: --the edge: all those guitars, the dizzying system. I think I'd get lost --Neil Young: from the Weld era. I'd bring my earplugs --J Mascis: what? --Jeff Tweedy: just to see if I could make the same sounds, at least a few of them --Michael Timmons: the rhythm guitars --Robert Smith: swirling for awhile --Trey Anastasio: 3 minute upwards spriral? I doubt myself there --Hendrix at Monterey --Mark Sandman's bass

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned willie yet but no one can cop his tone or technique. I would also argue that jj cale is not a one trick pony. His stuff on 5 is prob my favorite. I've never heard anything like mascis live. ever. I frankly love jeff's tone over the past couple of years. Such great use of different boxes and guitar volumes. the tone in the opening "eminence front" solo is so tight. chris whitley would have to be way up there for me--mostly live, although his work on god thing is transcendent. Young wins the best amp award hands down.

I've given up on trying to figure out who the most attractive Loster is. Too much effort.

I guess I was hoping for a little more plot reveal in light of the last couple, but looks like next week is going to be kickass.
