I have the itrip (I think that's the right product name--it's been sitting in the trunk for about 3 months now). I am obviously not a fan, but then again my 8 year old car stereo is a POS to begin with.

what he said. Key being that this was all negotiation before the hiring. Employees are able to make reasonable requests for accommodation (protected by federal law), but if the job requires travel, and the candidate is unable to travel, then it's not reasonable to ask for an accommodation concerning travel. DISCLAIMER: this ain't no legal advice and none of youze is my client

you're making my ass uncomfortable -
yes I've read that as well. I've also listened to the radio. Hard to reconcile the two.

i'm still having trouble understanding how having a law that requires private businesses to provide a counterpoint to political opinion/commentary can be a good thing in a democracy. liberals have taken several stabs at competing with the conservative talk radio machine and have failed miserably. so the solution is essentially to subsidize them? If the political parties were switched would those of you in support of the doctrine still feel the same? such a law shouldn't be passed simply to correct our failure to enforce other laws (anti-trust, etc.) either.

bob's "most of the time" gives me chills still, in large part to instrumentation that is hands down Lanois' influence/playing. and willie's cover of "the maker" is fantastic.
