I haven't decided yet. I'm definitely going to get tix though and just sell them on here if things don't work out. That's cool you guys are going to make a vacation out if it! Do you know anything about the venue? i'm curious if it has assigned seating. I know they have lawn seats but not sure about the rest.

Hmm. well I never have luck in presales anyway and I hate Music Today so no matter what day it is/was I doubt I'll try for tix until the general sale.

It's all in the way you present it to her. You gotta make it sound like a vacation! The venue does sound really cool, alot like the amphitheater in Raleigh where I saw Tweedy solo a couple of years ago. I looked on their website and saw that Duran Duran is playing there also!!

I've loved Danielle since my college days. Oddly enough, I have never heard her on local radio here (except for maybe WUSC) but was in Mississippi a couple of years ago and got really excited when I heard her duet w/Darius Rucker on a station there. I'll throw my vote in for one of Danielle's buddies, Josh Roberts and the Hinges. Oh and also American Gun is fun, too.

I've heard him tell people to come down front, too but it's pretty dangerous for people to clog the aisles. Not to mention all the people who tried to crowd their way into my seat/standing area/personal space. Maybe I'm just an old curmudgeon but unless it's the pit or a general admission show, I'd prefer people to stay in the seat they paid for.

Now I'm going to have that Old 97's song in my head all day. Thanks alot.

Well alot of it had to do with the fact that I had seats on John's side of the stage and I usually get tix in front of Jeff or Nels. Before the show I had a clear view of the stage and as soon as the lights went out and the band came on stage, all these people rushed into the aisles and I could no longer see. Was like that for the entire show. At least at the Charlotte show, security made people stay out of the aisles.

Ah, I love Tony K! I wish he still had his ESPN radio show.

Funny, that was one of the worst Wilco shows I've been to. Had alot to do with the crowd around me.
