My mom has these injections as often as her insurance allows, which really isn't very often so she's still in pain most days. However, she's never mentioned anything about the procedure being really painful. She's a tough woman, though.

Looks like they've added new tour dates (at least according to Pollstar)! I hope to see them either July 24 in Asheville or July 25 in Charlotte. Haven't seen them in over 3 years so I'm excited! (Sarah C, do you think you'll make any of these shows?)

All I have to say is thank god that kid didn't win. He just looked so uncomfortable standing up there before they announced the winner. I know he's a kid and he was probably nervous as hell, but still. He didn't look like a "star". Also, George Michael? WTF? Wow. Also, Ryan Seafoam. That had me laughing. Also, I shed a tear or two at the end when David Cook's brother mouthed to the camera "that's my brother". Awwww. Ok, I think that's it.

Pretty cool. I saw REM on the 2003 tour in Atlanta, but Pete Yorn was the opener. I was pretty upset because I had wanted to see Wilco instead but the show rocked regardless. It was the last show of the tour and they must've played 3 hours.
