Emily is getting a replacement cell phone (which we got used and cheap, but in good shape). I am also making her a hat with skulls on it. Oh, like this.... I am making Graham an MST3K scarf. (though I ripped this one and started anew, in the round, with a design on the back) For my mom and mom-in-law I am framing a photograph I took at the SOA protest with a (sort of) poem I wrote about my experience there. Rocky, I swear you know that story......I did local volunteering for the 84 Reagan/Bush campaign - I was in the paper and was a guest of honor at that dinner. I was 10. I switched track before '88 and campaigned for Dukakis. In the grad asst. office we had the newspaper story hanging on the wall as a joke, next to our posters of Malcolm X and Angela Davis.

did you see the damage to Rex's knee?? Oh my. As someone who has suffered injury that involves your knee being bent the wrong way, I have the utmost empathy for Sexy Rexy. I miss him already. I know no one else does.
