I blew my knee out again in February, remember? I still need an MRI - and will likely need knee replacement surgery. The tentative (non MRI) diagnosis was an ACL tear and further damage, though I won't know for sure til I get an MRI......hopefully won't be long now.

that was a really fun game to watch......

well I take it pretty easy on my knee.....it's Curves, so it isn't too high impact. I need to remember to take my Ace brace next time though. I still don't have an official diagnosis.....holding out til I get some health insurance. and man.....a banana smoothie sounds SO GOOD.

I think that JonBenet killer guy is full of shit......maybe jails overseas suck, so he came up with some crackass story to get extradited. Maybe they do way worse things to child molesters over there. Ths guy doesn't look guilty, he looks freakin insane. *shrug*

Cardinals are divebombing.....since I am not able to actually see any games, I just watch the scores. I am pretty happy I can't see this mess.....though that mess of a Sox game last night wasn't much to watch either. I fell asleep in the chair and hopped in bed at the top of the 9th......so, I missed the one good thing the Sox did all night. damn.

I picked up the other Sittenfeld book while halfway through Prep....it is also on my pile. I am reading the newest Nick Hornby right now, which I am beginning to settle into. I was a little unsure at first. And thanks for posting that book about Booth - I think I know what I am getting my mom for Christmas. She loved the Goodwin book Team of Rivals and is Lincolnsessed. Let me know what you think of Manhunt. I highly trust your opinion. I also bought a book of Grace Paley short stories recently after her name was mentioned in another book.....anyone read her? thoughts?

I had a really rough morning at the health clinic.....I think I may go home. I am not feeling too hot. Other than that.....this is my last day at work! oh yeah, and I got a $75 parking ticket while parked in a space I have parked in for almost a year.......dammit. On my last day too!

this all reminds me......when I worked at a Dick Blick Art Supply in college, we used to play baseball in the store with a model magic clay ball and poster tube bats.....the huge Prismacolor stand was named "Polanco" and stole many good base hits from me.......
