I go to a lot of concerts and sporting contests. Sadly, I'd be surprised at this point if I didn't get a markup on tickets. I always factor in about $15 extra per ticket.

There's a ton of minor league parks in my area. Yet no Florida dates. Old people love Florida. What gives?

I was skeptical because I am not the biggest fan of the newest Conor solo record....but they are infinitely better live. The musicians in the band are incredible and the show had great energy.

I mean, we see that with older shows - a patch from an AUD into a SBD or whatever, (I am thinking of various GD shows) but this was a case of mixing and matching to try and create some sort of "perfect" show.

I hate the Dead shows that do that. Usually the volumes aren't matched and it's really abrasive.

I'd just like to throw out there that I'm thankful for the tapers and people who post shows. I've done both and it's not that easy.

i learned this lesson when sky blue sky came out. the best route to go is to buy from an independent record store. you get extras that you don't get from buying from music today and if you don't have an indie store in your town, there are lots that will ship something to you, in a very reasonable time frame. there are other threads about his, browse through the dvd thread and the extras thread for more info, complaints, and suggestions. ignore Atticus...

I wish I had ordered SBS from an independent. With the new album I will probably order from newbury comics. I remember they had the SBS extras, and other stuff I have ordered from them has come very fast.

Maybe they have had some problem updating the web and reverted it to an old version for a short period of time.. It makes sense to me.

This is what I thought. I'm not too worried about it. I just want a track sequence that works. If this tune doesn't make the album we will still hear the studio version as a b-side or something.

What did you think of it? I was quite pleased with it apart from it being obviously unfinished. Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool( I presume) was a bit of a non runner though.

Wolverine is great. Obviously it will only get better once it is finished, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I've actually watched it twice already and will probably watch the finished movie more than once.

Once again...2/3 of Chicago call Chicago home at present. Since the lead singer/songwriter lives here I would think that makes them a Chicago band.
