    Anybody seen any shows from Dr. Dog's current tour? I saw them on Halloween. I thought it was pretty good show though I thought more people would be there. The warmup act they have with them, Delta Spirit isn't too bad either. They sound like they have a lot of promise. I recommend checking them out.

    I recorded an album and on it is a cover of Wilco's Misunderstood. I know a lot of you dislike it when people post links to their bands, but I thought since I have been posting on here for about a year and since it is semi-Wilco related, it could be acceptable.

     

    That said, I would say this is a fairly unique cover of the song. It is mostly piano based, with lots of keyboard sounds and such. It is not word for word, and some verses were left out.

    People should feel free to post music whether they've been here for years or a day. I think people only get pissed when it's apparent that someone created an account specifically to plug their band.

    I just want to add my three cents to this drugs discussion.

     

    To think that someone's talent is improved by doing heroin or most hard drugs is completely idiotic. I wish that anyone who thinks that doesn't have children.

     

    But with LSD, you just gotta look at Doc Ellis' no hitter. I would like to believe that LSD doesn't help but the proof is in the Kool-Aid. Google this man's name if you don't know the story. Quick version from what I remember: He was a professional pitcher for the Padres in the early seventies. Dropped a bunch of acid with his wife because he didn't have to pitch that day. Wife opens paper, says he's supposed to pitch. One of the greatest performances ever. Said his pitches looked like slo-motion to him when he threw fire. And he loved the trails he saw off the ball.

     

    Also, Jim Morrison is easily the most overrated artist ever. He's alright but definitely not a poet and pretty delusional himself. Cheers to him for living hard though.

    philip seymour hoffman is a good choice for JB but i think he's acting skills would overpower whoever would play jeff.

    Stirratt's gotta be played by owen wilson. Cut his hair shorter and that's it. They even talk similar.

    For MJ I'd pick Robin Williams

    They also win the worst album title award for "Fucking Your Sister With a Frozen Vomit Fuck Stick"

    prosthetic cunt is kinda lame but that album title is beautiful. Beautiful rhythm to the line.
