listened to the gaslight anthem on my bike ride home from work. what a great album, wow! i love the way he mixes in a few lyrics from classic r&b songs.

checking this out now. wow, fantastic.

i think it was grohl who said it best in that doc: i can't imagine life without his music. the man's an institution. i go through phases with him and i'm in one now. definitely great summer music.

i don't even think it's close honestly. i love tom but that's the only album i ever really listen to (besides she's the one i guess). i have that 6 disc box set so that satisfies my hunger too. just watched the documentary last night!

joe henry - short man's room. besides civilians, i think this is my favorite joe henry.

i've heard one album (might still have it) and really liked it but for some reason i just forget about them. i'll have to dig it out again. i remembering thinking it was really odd but great.

i think it was 2001? i downloaded at dawn, had it on my pc for a few months & then randomly played it & fell in love immediately. i've seen 3 or 4 times since then.

i'm a bit obsessed with gary right now. country needs more guys like this.

for modern/sort of mainstream country, this guy is fantastic.
