dreamin' of you is such a great song. -
that's unpossible! the new one is fantastic imo. welcome to the goodtimes - black crowes i almost have my fiancee convinced to play the chorus to this as we walk down the aisle after getting married.
-
i do love them. those lines are ny fave
-
heh, seems like you & i might be the only ways who can appreciate some mainstream country.
-
brakes - beatific visions these guys need to come out with a new album.
-
NP: sugarland - stay christ this song is great.
-
the rizdales - radio country been a while for this one too.
-
yeah, that sounds nothing like that album.
-
eh! i didn't hear any country/southern sounds in the one i listened to. i liked it a lot but nothing even resembling lucero what do you know about country anyway, you're from canada!
-
i hadn't listened in a while. i bet it's top 5 or 10 for me though.
-
it's 13ghosts. i don't think there in the same league as glossary/lucero. i only listened once but it's more beatles-esque than southern. it's good though np: glossary - the better angels of our nature. forgot how great this is.
-
you're fuckin' crazy i like two songs maybe. np: on the bus - matt mays - ....when the angels make contact
-
oh, and last time i saw them (july 20 something of this year), it was a mash up of great minneapolis bands! soul asylum the mats (tommy on bass) prince (micheal bland on drums)
-
i've only seen them live in this century (five or six times the last 5 years). all have been really really good.
-
i only have his last 3 albums. been meaning to check out his others but haven't got around to it. i noticed he covered todd snider's allright guy a while ago. what others are worth having? he definitely is a nice change of pace. growing up in the midwest/small town, country is a part of my life but after the mid 90's most mainstream country became horse shit. so this brings me back
-
yeah, me too. i heard that song 'life ain't always beautiful' when it came out .read up on him & became obsessed. he's not your typical country artist. his last three albums have a touch of great rock/byrds-esque country songs.
-
i am obsessed with this album.
-
do you realize - the flaming lips that song always lifts me up when i'm down.
-
i would not disagree with this at all.
-
the NEW marc ford tracks from his myspace page: damn good blues stuff!
-
i love strummer, streetcore is one of my fave albums ever. saying that, i definitely listen to more clash than strummer though.
-
ha, i'm not sure. maybe it's because i was super tired but that wasn't very good. it seemed like the band was out of sync or something. i love steve's beard. he looks like a wise old sage ;-)

What albums have you heard live in its entirety!
mjpuczko replied to remphish1's topic in Someone Else's Song
through out time? i have no f'in idea. i've never been to a show where the theme was 'this album in it's entirety'
