i've only been through the new calexico maybe once & enjoyed it. the first album of theirs i heard was the last one & i love that. it's taking me a while to get into the mariachi/rock style though.

i love steely dan. when i was growing up my mom would always play donald fagen 'nightfly'. as i got older i discovered he was in steely dan so i checked out their stuff & fell in love!
